Lee B. Spitzer is a native New Yorker who currently resides in Bordentown, New Jersey. An avid non-professional photographer, Lee seeks to discover and reveal beauty embedded in urban and other contexts that may be routinely missed even by those who live and work in those settings. His photographs have been published in several magazines (Archaeological Diggings, Africapost, and Zawadi – the inflight magazine of Kenya Airlines) and utilized by universities (Yale University and the Università degli Studi di Milano), various web sites, and non profit agencies such as the International Museum of Women, the World Bank and the Egyptian Tourist Agency.
Lee does have a day job. He currently serves as the Executive Minister and Senior Regional Pastor of the American Baptist Churches of New Jersey (since 2003). The opinions and views expressed in this blog belong solely to Lee and may not represent the official positions or policies of ABCNJ. Previously, Lee served as the pastor of 3 American Baptist Churches (1981-1986 – First Baptist, East Providence, RI; 1986-1993 – Seaview Baptist Church, Linwood, NJ; and 1993-2003 – First Baptist, Lincoln, NE).
